Windows used with stock item IDs:

Stock item ID and Stock item IDs editor windows
New stock item ID entry window

All of these windows are opened from the IDs panel.

The editor window is opened by the Edit command in the context menu when one or more stock item IDs are selected.

If one stock item ID is selected, the Stock item ID editor window will open.

Window fields:

Stock item – name of the stock item that the ID is specified for. Required field.
Container type – name of the container type used for storage of the stock item.
Selection is made from the list of container types entered in the Weight panel.
Volume – volume of the stock item represented by the ID.
For example, it can be used when preparing collation reports for stocktaking records.
Unit (stock item) – unit of measurement used for the stock item.
Code – ID code. Required field.
ID code is entered manually or using a device.
Type – ID type. Required field.
Selection is made in the Select ID type window.
Mask – attribute to indicate whether the ID code is a mask. Required field.
The value is selected from No or Yes.
Comment – short comment on the stock item ID.
Any additional information can be entered in this field.

Click OK to save data. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving data.

When two or more stock item IDs are selected for editing, the multiple editor window is opened. The title in the window header is Stock item IDs. A panel with a list of the selected stock item IDs is added to the window (names of corresponding stock items will be specified in brackets).

The fields are the same as in the Stock item ID window.

The New stock item ID entry window is opened by the Add command. It allows a new ID to be added to a stock item.
