The Specification panel lists the stock items used in development and the experiments carried out with them.

Each table line contains the name of a stock item used in the development recipe. Experiments correspond to columns of the data grid. Each operation in an experiment is associated with a group of columns.

The data grid is composed of the following columns:

It also relates to one or more groups of columns where experiments are described. This group contains five columns:

The Volume, Nett and Result are filled in by the user when creating or editing development records.

The Price by cost and Total by cost price columns are filled in automatically when the development record is processed in the storekeeping system.

The context menu contains the following commands:

The New experiment stock item entry window is used to add stock items to the specification of the development record.

The Experiment stock item editor window is used to edit specification items.

The Development record specification item editor window is used to edit the properties (processing or preparation wastage percentages) of specification items.

The Development record specification items viewing window is used to view the properties (processing wastages) of specification items in development records with the status Ready or Registered.

The New experiment entry window is used to add experiments to the specification of the development record.

The Experiment editor window is used to edit experiments.

The Experiment viewing window is used to view the properties of experiments in development records with the status Ready or Registered.

The permanent delete confirmation prompt is used when deleting experiments from development records.

If the development record has the status Ready or Registered, no changes can be made to its specification. In this case the Edit option in the context menu of the development record is replaced with the View option.
