All of these windows are opened from the context menu of the guest tab specification.
The editor window is opened by the Edit command when one or more orders are selected.
If one order with the Not ready status is selected, the editor window will open.
The window contains the Properties and Additional promotion categories panels.
The Properties panel is composed of the following fields:
Guest tab – guest tab which specification contains the order. Required field.
Number – order number. Required field.
The number can be generated automatically using a template described in the directory.
Date – date and time the order was created. Required field.
Business day – business day encompassing the time when the order was submitted.
Filled in when the order is submitted. This field is blank for an unfulfilled order.
Division – name of the division in which the guest tab was created. The field is read-only.
POS terminal – name of the POS terminal on which the order was created. Required field.
Selection is made in the window from a list of devices that can be used as POS terminals.
Promotion category – name of the prime promotion category applied to the order.
Selection is made in the window.
Promotion category is usually applied automatically using a promotion category authorisation device (for example, when a client provides his ID). However, it can also be applied manually to orders, order items and guest tabs by the POS terminal operator.
Employee – user name of the employee who served the order. Required field.
Operator – user name of the employee who took the order. Required field.
Status – order status. Required field.
Value is selected from Not ready and Submitted.
When the entry window is opened, the status is Not ready. The Submitted status is applied after the order is submitted.
Click
to save data. Selecting will save data without closing the window. Selecting will close the window without saving data.The multiple orders editor window opens when more than one order with the status Not ready is selected for editing.
The title in the window header changes over to . This window includes a panel with a list of the selected orders.
When multiple orders with the Not ready status are selected for editing, any changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected orders.
The entry window is used to add one or more orders to the document list.
The entry window is opened by the command from the context menu.
The panels and fields are the same as in the window.
The viewing window is opened by the View command in the context menu when one or more orders are selected.
If one order with the Submitted status is selected in the guest tab specification, the editor window will open.
Selecting
will close the viewer window.The viewing window opens when more than one order with the Submitted status is selected for editing.
The window contains an additional panel displaying a list of the selected orders.
