A new licensing system was created

The product key was replaced by global and local licences.

If global licences are used, the segment application server checks the licences on the licence server on the Internet (online). If local licences are used, the licence package is uploaded to the segment database. Data on the uploaded licence file is stored in the Segments directory. The licence file is unique for each segment.

Licences determine one or more functionalities, used in this work place, and are divided into several types according to their functionalities (F – managing the front office part of the system, B – managing the back office part of the system, S – managing the store documents, R – viewing data and managing reports, D – development).

Each POS terminal and each manager workstation must be licensed. To license the program on the POS terminal, enter the licence numbers in the POS device parameters (specify values for the licence parameter).

The Licence settings directory was added to Tillypad XL Manager. There you can enter licence numbers that correspond to the applied functionalities.
