The Specification panel is used for entering the orders and order items associated with the guest tab.
The Specification panel contains a data grid with orders and the order items they contain.
Order child items are items added to the specification from the menu. It can be menu items including timed services. Timed services can also have child items, i.e. their price schedules.
Data grid columns:
Name – order, order item (menu item) or timed service price schedule.
Volume – volume of the order item.
Unit (menu) – menu item unit of measurement used to keep records of order items.
Quantity – number of items in the order.
Price by menu – menu item price.
Total by menu – total value of the menu item.
Discount – total discount on selected number of menu items in the order.
Markup – total markup on selected number of menu items in the order.
VAT, % – applicable VAT rate expressed in a percentage.
VAT price – the amount of VAT in the price expressed in monetary units.
Price without VAT – the amount of price without VAT.
Price – price of the order item including VAT, discounts and markups.
VAT amount – the amount of VAT in the price expressed in monetary units.
Amount without VAT – the amount of price without VAT.
Total – total value of all menu items in the order (with discounts and markups). It is the amount the customer should pay for menu items and services in the order specification.
Menu group – menu group to which the order item belongs.
Parent – parent item (applicable for items with modifiers or timed services
).
Sales department – name of the sales department to which the order belongs.
Seat number – seat occupied by the guest.
Course – order of serving meals.
Index – index of the order item in the order specification.
Preparation date – date and time when the the menu item was cooked. Specified at confirmation of the order.
Menu item – menu item corresponding to the order item.
Table – table where a timed service is provided.
Start date – date and time the timed service started.
Time – duration of the timed service (time interval that equals the volume of the timed service).
Operator – employee who took the order.
Bill – menu item in which the order item is included.
Bill item – bill specification item corresponding to the order specification item.
Number (b) – number of order items included in the bill.
Price in bill – price of the bill item.
Bill date – date and time the bill was created.
Order – order number.
Status – order status.
Guest tab – guest tab number.
Business day – business day the guest tab was created.
Division – name of the division on which the guest tab was created.
POS terminal – name of the POS terminal on which the guest tab was created.
Promotion category – name of the prime promotion category applied.
Employee – user name of the employee who created the guest tab.
Comment – brief comments.
The specification context menu contains the following commands:
(Ins) – adds a menu item to the order specification.
This command is only available for orders with the status Not ready.
(F2) – edits or views items included in the guest tab specification.
The Not ready that contain at least one specification item (order item). If the order has the status Submitted, the command in the context menu is replaced by the command.
command is only enabled in specifications of orders with the status(Alt+Ins) – adds an order to the guest tab specification.
The command is available only in specifications of orders with the Not ready status that contain at least one timed service.
(Shift+Ctrl+Ins) – adds a price schedule for the timed service.
The command is available only in specifications of orders with the Not ready status that contain at least one timed service.
(Del) – permanently deletes the selected items from the specification.
Command is available only when selecting specification items of guest tabs with the Not ready status.
– assigns specification items to the bill.
– deletes specification items from the bill that is connected to the order.
– menu with the commands to alter the document status.
When selecting one or more documents with the same status, their current status will not be available in the context menu. When selecting documents with different statuses, all possible statuses will be available in the context menu.
(Ctrl+P) – generates print layouts.
– menu with the commands to manage summary functions of the data grid.
– menu with the commands to operate the data grid.
Orders are added to the guest tab specification using the and windows. The and windows are used for editing.
Menu items including timed services are added to the order specification in the guest tab using the and windows.
The and windows are used for editing order items in guest tabs.
The and windows are used for viewing order specification elements of guest tabs with the status Submitted.
The window is used to select a parent for the order specification item.
The permanent delete confirmation prompt is used when deleting order specification items. The element can be deleted from the specification of the order with the Not ready status only.
