Bill format windows

Windows used with Bill formats:

New bill format entry window;
Bill format and Bill formats editor windows.

Entry window

The entry window is used to enter a new bill format.

The window is opened by the Add command from the directory context menu.

The window contains the additional panels Query, Model and Format.

Form fields in the Properties panel:

Name � name of the format;
Description � brief description;

Based on — name of the format that was used to create the new bill format.

Selecting OK will add the data to the directory and close the window. Selecting Cancel will close the window without saving any changes.

Editor window

The editor window is opened by the Edit command in the context menu when one or more bill formats are selected.

If one bill format is selected, the Bill format editor window will open.

The fields and panels are the same as in the New bill format window.

Multiple editor window

When two or more bill formats are selected for editing, the multiple editor window will open. It has a panel displaying a list of the selected bill formats. The title in the window header is Bill formats. No additional panels are displayed.

When multiple formats are selected for editing, any changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected formats.

The Query panel contains the SQL query used to retrieve bill information from the database:

Query panel fields:

Data sets — names of data sets generated by the query.
Query — SQL query.

The Query field context menu contains the command Test query. This command tests the query for errors and displays test results in a popup window named Query result.

The Format panel is used to create and edit the printing template for the bill format.

Based on — source format from which to take the printing template as a basis for the current format template.

The Design command in the context menu of the format preview field opens the printing template editor.
