Stock item groups directory

The Stock item groups directory is used to manage stock item groups.

Location: Store -> Directories -> Stock item groups.

The window contains the header Stock item groups and a list of stock item groups. The header contains the icon.

If a stock item group is included in a subscription directly, it is illustrated by the icon. If a stock item group is included in a subscription via its parent group, it is illustrated by the icon.

Stock item groups directory

Data grid columns:

Name — name of the stock item group.
Description — brief description.
Parent group — name of the immediate containing group, for second-level groups and lower.
Security category — security category assigned to the stock item group.
Subscription status — status of the subscription for receipt of information about changes to stock item groups during replication.
Subscription — type of subscription.

Context menu commands:

Add (Ins)— create new stock item group.
Edit (F2)— edit stock item groups.

This command is only available in populated data grids.
Delete (Del)— delete stock item groups.

This command is only available in populated data grids.
Print (Ctrl+P) — print out.
Additional functions — contains additional commands for working with data grids.

The New stock item group, Stock item group and Stock item groups windows are used for adding, viewing and editing stock item groups.

The confirm delete window is used when deleting stock item groups. When a stock item group is deleted, all stock items and stock item groups contained in it are also deleted.

The Select stock item group window is used to select stock item groups from form fields in other windows.
