Client groups
Client groups are used to combine clients into logical groups for ease of use.
Client method groups are displayed in the and directories.
Client groups can be nested to any number of levels.
Client groups in the Clients directory
The directory displays both client groups and clients. The directory displays only client groups.
Changes made in either one of the or directories are immediately applied to the other directory.
Security categories are assigned to client groups and limit access to the clients contained within them. Security categories are not assigned at individual client level.
Subscription can be configured for client groups, enabling them to be updated by replication.
