Menu group shortcut windows
Windows used with menu group shortcuts:
These windows are opened from the and directories.
The editor windows are used to edit parameters of one or more existing menu group shortcuts.
Editor window
The editor window is used to edit a single menu group shortcut.
The window is opened by the command from the context menu of the and directories when one menu group shortcut is selected.
The window contains the Properties and Picture panels.
Properties panel fields:

Parent group — name of the group above the current group shortcut in the menu hierarchy.

Menu group — name of the menu group that the shortcut links to. Required field.
Selection is made in the window.
This name will be displayed on the group shortcut button in the terminal menu.

Button format — format of the button used to select the menu group in the terminal menu.
Selection is made in the window.
Button format can be used when the GridButton parameter in the terminal configuration is set to True.

Index — incremental value which determines the position of the group in the terminal menu.
The default value entered by the system is displayed in black type. If it is changed from the default, it will be displayed in green type.
The index parameter can be used to place the most popular group shortcuts higher up in the menu, making them easier to access at the terminal.

Exclude from sale — temporarily removes group from the terminal menu, making the items and any subgroups contained in it unavailable for selection.
The value is selected from No or Yes. If Yes is selected, the group will not be available for selection on the terminal.
Note
In order to exclude a group from sale in specific divisions or on specific terminals, use menu exclusions in the directory, or in mode on a Tillypad XL POS terminal.
Menu group shortcut editor window
Selecting will save the data in the directory and close the window.
Selecting will close the window without saving any changes. Selecting will save the data in the directory without closing the window.
Multiple editor window
If multiple menu group shortcuts are selected for editing, the multiple editor window opens. It contains a panel displaying the selected shortcuts.

When multiple menu group shortcuts are selected for editing, any changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected menu group shortcuts.
The panels and fields are the same as in the editor window.

The window is used to add a menu group shortcut to the and directories.
The window is opened by the command from the context menu of the and directories when a menu group is selected.
