Tasks list

The Tasks list is used for managing scheduled system tasks.

Location: System -> Tasks.

Data grid columns:

Name — name of the task.
Description — brief description.
Task type — task type that the task belongs to.
Last run — date and time the task was last run.
Next run — date and time the task is next scheduled to run.
Status — status returned the last time the task was run. Can be one of the following:
- Successfully completed — task executed successfully, not illustrated by any icon.
- Running — task is currently executing, illustrated by the icon. Current execution time is displayed.
- Error — task execution failed due to error. The text of the error is displayed, e.g. Parameter XYZ not found, illustrated by the icon.
Inactive — whether the task is temporarily deactivated. Deactivated tasks are illustrated by the icon.
Level — severity level of error the last time the task was run.
Running — whether the task is currently running.
Employee — user name of the employee who added the task.

Context menu commands:

Add (Ins) — add a new task to the list. (example)
Edit (F2) — edit selected tasks. (example)

This command is only available for non-system tasks.
Delete (Del) — permanently delete selected tasks. (example)

This command is only available for non-system tasks.
Execution log — view execution log for selected tasks.
Run — manually run selected tasks.

This command is only available when tasks that are not currently running are selected.
Stop — manually stop execution of selected tasks.

This command is only available when tasks that are currently running are selected.
Export — menu containing commands for exporting data to an external file or to an update package.
Print (Ctrl+P) — print out.
Additional functions — contains additional commands for working with data grids.

The New task, Task and Tasks windows are used for adding, viewing and editing tasks.

The confirm delete prompt is used when deleting tasks.

The Execution log window is used for viewing task execution logs.
