Business day windows
Windows used with business days:
Entry window
The entry window is used to create (open) a new business day.
entry window is opened by the command from the
Form fields:

Name — name of the business day. Required field.
The business day name can be automatically generated or entered manually. Automatic generation occurs when the window is opened or when the selection button in the Name field is pressed. Automatic names are generated using the template specified in the directory.
An icon is displayed in the field to illustrate the status of the sales record. If the sales record status is Process or Error, the icons or are displayed respectively.
Business day names can similarly be used to group information in printed reports.

Division — name of the division for which a business day is opened. Required field.
Selection is made in the window.
Division names can be used for grouping information in the viewer window and in various reports.

Start date — date and time the business day was opened. Required field.
The current date and time are automatically inserted when the window is opened, but can be edited.
The date can be entered in short format DD.MM.YY (DD.MM.YYYY) or long format DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS.

Opened by — name of the employee who opened the business day. Required field.
Selection is made in the window. The user name of the current system user is entered into this field by default.

Opening POS terminal — name of the terminal on which the business day was opened. Required field.
Selection is made in the window.
Note
Business days can be opened on any terminal of this division in the mode.

End date — date and time the business day was closed. The field is required for closing the business day.
The date can be entered in short format DD.MM.YY (DD.MM.YYYY) or long format DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS.
Note
Dates of all operations and documents must be in-between the date opened and date closed.

Closed by — name of the employee who closed the business day. The field is required for closing the business day.

Closing POS terminal — name of the terminal on which the business day was closed. The field is required for closing the business day.

Status — business day status. Required field.
Selection is made from the list of statuses: Open, Closed, Open for changes. The Deleting status is assigned automatically.
By default, the business day has the Open status.
Selecting
will add the business day to the directory and close the entry window. Selecting will close the window without saving the business day. Selecting will add the business day to the directory without closing the window.The
command in the menu is disabled.Note
Only one business day can be opened in a division. An error message will be returned on attempting to open one more business day.
The editor window allows one or more business days to be edited simultaneously.
The editor window is opened by the
command in the context menu when one or more business days are selected.Editor window
If one business day is selected, the
editor window will open.The window fields are only available for editing when the business day has the Open or Open for changes status.
The fields and panels are the same as in the window.
To close a business day, you need to fill the fields End date, Closed by, Closing POS terminal and mark the business day as Closed. If at least one of these fields is empty, an error message will be returned.
Note 1
The Closed status can only be assigned to the business day when all the bills created on that business day have been paid. Otherwise an error message will be returned.
Note 2
A business day can only be marked as Closed, when all bills and receipts created on that day are included in the time period between business day opening and closing. So all bills and receipts must be created later than the day opened date but earlier than the day closed date. Otherwise an error message will be returned.
If a business day has the Closed status, all fields in the editor window except the Status field are disabled.
Multiple editor window
The multiple business days editor window will open when multiple business days are selected for editing.
The title in the window header is
. It has a panel displaying a list of selected business days, with the division names that they relate to in brackets to the right of each business day.
When multiple business days are selected for editing, any changes that are saved will be applied to all of the selected business days.
